Adam + Kelli Married ~ Elks Lodge, Port Huron

Adam and Kelli rock. Their family and friends rock. I am so lucky to have such amazing clients-seriously. We started the day at Kelli’s salon, Twisted Scissorz, where the girls were getting their hair and makeup done. Jenn Sharpe and her staff were super friendly and did a great job. After finishing up at the salon, we headed over to St. Joseph Catholic Church so that Kelli could start getting her wedding dress and jewelry on. We ended up photographing most of her getting ready in the hall of the school because, well, it just looked cool with the sunlight backlighting Kelli through the doors, and we had the school to ourselves, so it wasn’t like anyone could actually see us 🙂

Time flew by and before we knew it, the ceremony was ready to begin. Adam looked calm and collected-Hey, when you know you’re marrying the perfect woman for you, why stress, right? Kelli was just beaming as she walked down the aisle on her dad’s arm. He looked as proud as could be. Reverend Cokonougher performed a beautiful ceremony and before we knew it, Adam and Kelli were official! After the formal family photos were done, we made a pit stop to Port Huron Hospital to see Kelli’s grandma who had caught a bug and, although determined to get better in time, wasn’t able to make it to the wedding. (…insert super-awesome granddaughter comment here) Afterwards, the gang headed over to Lighthouse Park for some bridal photos.

Adam and Kelli’s reception was at the Elks Lodge in Port Huron. While the guests were attending cocktail hour, we snuck out back (we didn’t really sneak-the staff was waiting for us, I swear!) and used the golf carts to get around the golf course for some additional photos with the whole bridal party. Adams parents had booked a mariachi band to play during cocktail hour and dinner, which the guests absolutely loved.

Everyone was absolutely ridiculous and a blast to spend the day with. There was a lot of laughter and, well, I’m still smiling about the day just thinking about it. Congratulations you two-I have no doubt that you both are meant for each other and I wish you all the very best that life has in store for you. Thank you so much for choosing me to be such a big part of your day!
