The Stoner Family ~ Home + Metro Beach Session, Harrison Twp.

What a fun family! After I think two sessions that had to be rescheduled because of the wonderful Michigan rain, I was finally able to meet and photograph the Stoner family. Let me tell you about the kiddos. Mister B was just as cute as a button and definitely had that mischievous grin down to a ‘T’. He loved getting on his trike and riding around in his backyard when he wasn’t busy chasing his big sister around. Loved that moppy haircut too. It fit his personality just perfectly.

Miss C was absolutely beautiful, with a perfect little face and gorgeous blonde hair. She was all about cooking in her “kitchen” with her brother while we were inside. What cracked me up was with the huge amount of play food that they had, I still found a bunch of real canned goods floating around their play kitchen. That totally cracked me up! Seriously though, what a great family.

Okay, I have a question. Does anyone know why they changed the name of Metro Beach to Lake St. Clair Metropark? I’m going to be a rebel here and call it Metro Beach. Kind of like Pine Knob. It will always be Pine Knob, not DTE. Can I get an AMEN? Anyways, I’m totally getting off the subject here folks…We stopped by Metro Beach for a few photos near the water. Well, we tried at least. Although the kids weren’t necessarily super excited to be getting their pictures taken at Metro, we did manage to get a few good ones. It was a bit chilly and well, there was a REALLY big playscape within sight that was really winning them over. So needless to say, the kids soon won and got to go play for a bit.

I had such fun with these guys and I can’t wait to see them again! Oh, and on a side note, I’m painting my house and love how that green wall below ‘pops.’ I wonder if I can find a room or even a wall that will work with a green wall like that…I’ll have to mention that to Paul. Hey, I let him paint our bedroom orange, so I doubt he’ll have a problem with green!
