Location: Pine Knob Carriage House
Drew & Michelle’s wedding was perfect. The sunflowers everywhere. The marvelous weather in a spring/summer of crazy and unpredictable Michigan weather. Their family, so wonderfully supportive and excited for this day. I had the privilege of photographing Drew’s sister’s wedding a while back and had been looking forward to seeing their family again. Along with my new assistant Michelle, we arrived at the Pine Knob Carriage House in the early afternoon and upon entering, we were so excited to see the transformation of the room and outdoor pavilion where the ceremony was taking place almost complete.
Throughout the day and into the evening, the magic of the day stayed with us. The prayers before the ceremony, the time photographing family and the bridal party afterwards, the first dance…everything was just perfect and fit Michelle and Drew to a T. Walking out of their wedding after all of the main dances were done, I just couldn’t stop smiling and rushed home to edit a few of the images to post on my Facebook page.
